Cajónes

Friend of the website, Alfonso Cid, posted about Cajóneada, on his Instagram. Associated with both the Flamenco Festival and the ongoing homage to Paco de Lucia on the tenth anniversary of his death, Cajóneada is a percussionist fest at Rincón Cirollo-La Casita de Chema in the Bronx. The event is free, and, if you can’t bring your own cajón, some 30 cajónes will be provided by the Flamenco Festival.
