Asi Canta Federico at Teatro LATEA

Teatro LATEA, 107 Suffolk St., (https://teatrolatea.org) will present Así Canta Federico on 15 March at 7:30 pm. The production is described as “a theatrical experience of music and dance inspired by” the spirit of Federico Garcia Lorca. The promotional material adds, “The powerful music played by guitar, piano, percussion, flute and voice show the Spanish roots as well as more modern expressions that come for the tradition”. Conceived and directed by Nilko Andreas, Azlo Productions, performers include: Alfonso Cid, flamenco cantaor and flute; Paloma de Vega, dancer and choreographer; Liz Chidester, voice and guitarist; Hayk Arsenyan, pianist; and Andreas, voice and guitarist.
